Gaza: Hamas has handed five more Israeli occupation prisoners to the Red Cross as part of a recently reached 15-month-long Gaza ceasefire and prisoner swap deal. Of the five, three prisoners were handed over to the Red Cross in Nuseirat, central Gaza, while two were freed in Rafah City.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Israeli occupation will release 602 Palestinian prisoners and detainees in return, including 50 sentenced to life imprisonment and 108 to be deported outside Palestinian territories.
Hamas stated in a press release that the handing over of the five Israeli occupation prisoners to the Red Cross reaffirms the movement's commitment to the Gaza deal.
