Gaza: The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, has announced the release of 13 Israeli prisoners in the southern Gaza Strip. This release marks the second batch of prisoners freed as part of an agreed-upon exchange between Hamas and the Israeli occupation.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Qassam Brigades confirmed that the handover process was conducted according to the terms agreed upon. Additionally, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) verified that their teams had received the prisoners at the second meeting point in Khan Yunis. These prisoners are to be transferred to the Israeli occupation side, continuing the implementation of the exchange deal.
Previously, the ICRC had facilitated the release of seven Israeli hostages from Hamas, indicating progress in the ongoing exchange process.
