Hamas Agrees to Release All Israeli Hostages Amid Negotiations in Sharm El-Sheikh

Sharm el-sheikh: Palestinian movement, Hamas, expressed on Tuesday its readiness, during ongoing negotiations currently held in Egypt's Sharm El-Sheikh City, to hand over all Israeli hostages - those who are alive or dead.

According to Kuwait News Agency, during the negotiations, Hamas demanded elaboration of required measures to carry out US President Donald Trump's plan and clear guarantees to prevent the Israeli occupation from repeating its aggression after reaching any deal, Egypt's Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported.

Egypt, with all parties, is intensifying its efforts to reach an explicit deal, which determines required mechanisms and measures to implement Trump's plan. Cairo began discussing the Palestinian prisoners' lists due to be released from Israeli jails, as part of an exchange agreement, that include Marwan Al-Barghouthi, Ahmad Sa'dat, Hassan Salama and others.

Delegations from Qatar, Turkiye and the US arrived in Sharm El-Sheikh to partake in the ongoing negotiations on implementing the deal. On Monday, indirect talks were held between Hamas and the Israeli occupation to discuss means of creating condition to carry out Trump's plan.

The plan includes an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, a swap of prisoners, gradual withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from the Strip, dismantling weapons and forming a transition government led by an international council to manage the Strip.
