Kuwait City: Gulf youth are at the forefront of sustainable development efforts in the region, according to Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, the Minister of Information, Culture, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs. His remarks were made during a ceremony honoring distinguished Gulf youth, organized by the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf under the slogan "Gulf Youth: Creativity - Leadership - Achievement."
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Mutairi emphasized the importance of providing an environment that nurtures the ambitions and capabilities of Gulf youth, supporting their journey toward excellence. He highlighted the vision of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, who have long believed that investing in youth is the key to building prosperous and sustainable societies.
Al-Mutairi underscored the responsibility of young people to continue striving, overcoming challenges, and remaining committed to their roles as pillars of their nations. He expressed confidence that the determination and innovation of Gulf youth would ensure the GCC's prominence among countries that value and invest in their younger generations.
The minister encouraged the youth to remain adaptable in a rapidly changing world, where progress hinges on innovation and perseverance. He also conveyed greetings and best wishes from key Kuwaiti leaders, including His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Sabah.
Al-Mutairi extended his gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for hosting the event and praised the efforts of GCC Secretary General Jassim Al-Budaiwi and his team in supporting Gulf youth across various domains.
