Kuwait city: A Gulf delegation participating in the Gulf Family Forum on Wednesday visited the Juvenile Care Complex of the Ministry of Social Affairs to review Kuwait's experience in juvenile care and the social services provided to beneficiaries.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi stated in a press release that the visit demonstrates Kuwait's commitment to strengthening partnerships and integration with GCC peers, aiming to foster social solidarity and support joint Gulf action.
Director of the Juvenile Care Department at the Ministry, Dr. Jassim Al-Kanderi, highlighted that the visit emphasizes fraternal relations and a mutual interest in exchanging expertise and enhancing cooperation in social care fields. He further explained that the Complex is an integrated facility offering specialized services to residents, equipped with modern systems, and rehabilitation and educational programs that align with the Ministry's vision to develop social work in accordance with best practices.
Bahrain's Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development, Ziyad Adel Darwish, expressed appreciation for the achievements observed at the Complex. He praised the experience as a leading model that can be applied across GCC states, particularly in Bahrain, affirming the visit as part of joint Gulf cooperation and expressing gratitude to Kuwait for its hospitality.
