Riyadh: The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council has condemned the Iranian regime's attacks on infrastructure and civilian facilities in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, labeling them as war crimes that demand immediate international accountability. According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Mr. Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, expressed strong disapproval of the Iranian actions. These attacks not only targeted the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan but also led to injuries among civilian workers in Kuwait. Mr. Al-Budaiwi emphasized the severity of Iran's actions, describing them as a dangerous escalation and a grave violation of international law and the United Nations Charter. He highlighted that these acts constitute war crimes, flagrantly violating international norms and conventions, thereby destabilizing the region's security and stability. The Gulf Cooperation Council, as s tated by Mr. Al-Budaiwi, stands in solidarity with Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, supporting all measures they take to protect their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. He also extended his wishes for a swift recovery to those injured in Kuwait.
