Gulf Air Halts Operations to Jordan, Iraq, and Azerbaijan Due to Regional Instability

Manama: Bahrain's national carrier, Gulf Air, is suspending all flights to and from Jordan, Iraq, and Azerbaijan in light of current developments in the region, the airline said on Sunday. Gulf Air has cancelled all flights departing to and arriving from the Jordanian capital Amman until Monday, in addition to Baghdad and Najaf in Iraq until June 20 and Azerbaijan's capital Baku until June 21, Bahrain's state carrier said in a statement.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Gulf Air will continue to monitor developments closely, as the safety of its passengers and crew members remains a "top priority" for the airline, state-run BNA news agency reported.
