Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassim Al-Budaiwi met with Bahrain's Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, Dr. Abdulla bin Ahmad Al-Khalifa, to discuss ways to enhance joint Gulf cooperation in the transportation and telecommunications sectors. According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting took place at the headquarters in Riyadh, and discussions focused on strengthening regional collaboration in transportation and telecommunications and advancing digital transformation efforts across GCC member states. During the meeting, Al-Budaiwi commended Bahrain's Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications for its contributions to the GCC's progress in this sector. He highlighted the ministry's role in keeping pace with global technological advancements and developing digital infrastructure, which supports the transition toward a sustainable digital economy.
