French Foreign Minister to Attend UN Conference on Two-State Solution

New york: French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot is set to participate in a high-level United Nations conference focused on the two-state solution, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the ministry disclosed that Barrot will travel to New York to attend the conference scheduled for July 28-29. During the event, he is expected to call on the international community to maintain the political momentum initiated by France to achieve several key objectives. These objectives include the recognition of the State of Palestine, advancing the normalization process with Israel, promoting regional integration, supporting Palestinian governance reforms, and disarming Hamas.

The conference follows France's recent announcement that it will officially recognize the State of Palestine in September.
