French Foreign Minister Criticizes Israeli Actions in Gaza Strip

Paris: France's Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot stated that the situation in the Gaza Strip is unsustainable, condemning what he described as "blind violence" by the Israeli occupation authorities.

According to Kuwait News Agency, in an interview with France Inter radio, Barrot expressed that the condition in Gaza is "indefensible" due to the indiscriminate violence and the blockade of humanitarian aid by the Israeli government, which has transformed Gaza into a perilous trap. He emphasized that France would not remain passive and warned of potential concrete actions if Israel continued to obstruct aid. Barrot affirmed France's commitment to recognizing a Palestinian state, asserting, "We cannot leave the children of Gaza a legacy of violence and hatred. So all this must stop, and that's why we are determined to recognize a Palestinian state."

Additionally, the French minister underscored that France would persist in its political and diplomatic endeavors to support the two-state solution, aiming to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East.
