Fountains in Istanbul: Model of Ottoman Architecture, Design


Kuwait City: Ottoman fountains, with their unique mechanisms, consistent water flow and exceptional artistry, continue to provide residents with fresh water. Among the more notable ones is the Sultan Ahmad Square fountain standing by the gates of Topkapi Palace, and the fountain in Uskudar.



According to Kuwait News Agency, the Sultan Ahmad fountain is a model of Ottoman architecture and artistry as it is adorned with inscriptions, and a chronogram designed by the Sultan.
