Kuwait city: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has followed up with deep concern the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) with famine confirmed in Gaza Strip according to the UN criteria.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the State of Kuwait renews its strong condemnation and denunciation of the policy of starvation, suppression, and displacement, adopted by the occupation Israeli forces against the innocent civilians in Gaza.
Such a policy is a blatant breach of the international law and the international humanitarian law, disregarding relevant resolutions of the international legitimacy, namely the UN Security Council resolutions, including the one numbered 2417 that condemns starving civilians as a combat method in conflicts.
The State of Kuwait stresses the necessity for the international community and the UNSC to hold responsibility and allow the urgent entry of humanitarian aid to the strip, halt the genocide targeting the brotherly Palestinian people, and bring to account the occupation-based power for the crimes it has been committing against humanity.
