Kuwait city: First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah chaired the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Investigation.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the committee announced its decision to strip Kuwaiti citizenship from a number of individuals. This decision has been referred to the Cabinet for further consideration.
The citizenship revocations were attributed to reasons such as dual citizenships, forgery, fraud, obtaining documents through affiliation, and actions conflicting with the State's supreme interests.
