Kuwait city: The Supreme Committee for the Investigation of Kuwaiti Citizenship convened a meeting on Thursday, led by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah. During the session, crucial decisions were made regarding the status of certain Kuwaiti citizenships.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry of Interior disclosed that the committee resolved to revoke Kuwaiti citizenship from several individuals. This decision is now slated for discussion by the cabinet. The revocation was due to instances of dual citizenship, forgery, fraud, and issues conflicting with the state's supreme interest.
