Basra: The Iraqi Ministry of Oil reported that the Al-Faw oil depot in the southern Basra Governorate experienced a fire on Friday due to an electric short circuit. According to Kuwait News Agency, firefighters and local civil defense forces quickly responded to the incident and successfully extinguished the fire within one hour. As of now, there have been no reports of damage resulting from the fire.
