According to Kuwait News Agency, Borrell will commence his tour in Jordan, where he is slated to meet with King Abdullah II in Amman. During his visit, he will also deliver a keynote speech at the University of Jordan, an event that will be held under the patronage of Princess Rym Ali. On November 21, Borrell is expected to engage in discussions with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, as well as with Palestinian officials, to address ongoing regional conflicts. The tour will further extend to Lebanon, where Borrell will conduct several bilateral meetings. His itinerary includes discussions with Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri, and Lebanese Army Commander Joseph Aoun. Additionally, Borrell will meet with representatives from the United Nations present in Lebanon. The statement highlights that the visit aims to continue the dialogue on achieving a sustainable ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon.
