Egyptian President Calls for International Intervention to Halt Gaza Conflict

Cairo: Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi on Monday called on the US, the European Union (EU), and Arab countries to intensify their efforts to end the ongoing conflict in Gaza, facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid, and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people. In a televised address, President Al-Sisi appealed to US President Donald Trump to take decisive action to halt the hostilities in the Palestinian territory.

According to Kuwait News Agency, President Al-Sisi reiterated Egypt's commitment to providing maximum humanitarian assistance to Gaza, expressing pride in Cairo's role in supporting the Palestinian people. He emphasized Egypt's dedication to finding a resolution to the crisis and reducing regional tensions.

The Egyptian leader described the current situation in the Gaza Strip as "tragic and unbearable," noting the urgent need for 600-700 aid trucks daily to address the humanitarian crisis under the extraordinary circumstances.
