Cairo: Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi announced that Cairo will host an international conference on Gaza reconstruction in November, highlighting the importance of Egyptian solidarity with the Palestinian people. The statement was made during an Egyptian army event commemorating the 52nd anniversary of October Victory.
According to Kuwait News Agency, President Al-Sisi instructed Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli to work with state bodies and civil society organizations to develop a national fundraising mechanism to finance the reconstruction efforts in Gaza. The initiative aims to bolster the ongoing support for humanitarian aid, ceasefire efforts, and the release of prisoners in the region.
