Egypt Firm on Palestinian Inalienable Rights

Kuwait City: Egypt affirmed its rejection of any infringement on the Palestinian inalienable rights, emphasizing that it remains the central issue in the Middle East. The delay in settling it, ending the occupation, and returning the rights of the Palestinian people is considered the basis of instability in the region. According to Kuwait News Agency, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement highlighting the country's continued support for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people on their land. The statement underscored adherence to their legitimate rights and the principles of international law and international humanitarian law. The ministry further expressed its disapproval of any attempts to infringe upon those inalienable rights. This includes actions such as settlement expansion, annexation of land, and displacement of the Palestinian people. Egypt warned that these actions threaten regional stability, prolong the conflict, and undermine the prospects of peace and coexistence a mong the region's peoples. Egypt also urged the international community to work towards implementing a two-state solution. This includes the establishment of a Palestinian state on its entire national territory, considering the unity of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the lines of June 4, 1967.
