Egypt and Qatar Advocate for Palestinian State as Key to Middle East Security.


Cairo: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani have jointly emphasized that establishing a Palestinian state is crucial for ensuring security and stability in the Middle East. Their remarks came during a joint press conference where they highlighted the significance of adhering to international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions between the two leaders focused on the ongoing Israeli actions in Gaza and the West Bank. They stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire, the release of hostages, and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to affected regions. Additionally, they discussed preparations for an upcoming humanitarian conference in Cairo, set for December 2, which aims to boost aid to Gaza. Badr Abdelatty reiterated Egypt’s support for Lebanon’s stability, while Sheikh Mohammad expressed Qatar’s commitment to humanitarian efforts in Palestine and noted a
dvancements in bilateral relations, especially in economic cooperation.

Both leaders agreed on the necessity of intensified coordination among Qatar, Egypt, and other Arab countries to address regional developments effectively. Their joint efforts underscore a shared vision for peace and prosperity in the region through collaboration and adherence to international norms.
