Kuwait City: Kuwait will continue to experience dusty conditions and high humidity through Friday morning, according to the Meteorology Department. Dharar Al-Ali, acting director of the Meteorology Department, indicated that these conditions are a result of a surface low-pressure system affecting the region.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the system is bringing hot, humid air along with strong southeasterly winds that are exceeding 50 km/h. These winds are expected to persist until midnight, leading to reduced visibility, especially in open areas, and causing sea waves to rise above six feet.
The weather forecast for today suggests that it will remain hot and relatively humid during daylight hours, with particularly high humidity levels expected along the coastal areas overnight. Daytime temperatures are predicted to range between 39°C and 43°C, while nighttime lows are expected to be between 28°C and 30°C.
Al-Ali has advised the public to stay informed by using the department's official platforms and the government's "Sahl" app for the latest weather alerts and advisories.
