Chief of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) (of the State of Kuwait) Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Al-Sabah on Wednesday discussed along with President of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Salvatore Sciacchitano, and its director of air transport Mohammad Rahma constructive cooperation between the two. This was during third day of ICAO's Air Services Negotiation (ICAN2024) Event in Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. Sheikh Al-Sabah told KUNA that this cooperation aims to improve employee capabilities and workflow through instructions and recommendations issued by organization, adding that Kuwait is working tirelessly to guarantee safety of civil aviation and navigation. He commended the annual conference, calling it a notable civil aviation event, and an opportunity facilitating the signing of agreements, and MoUS. The annual conference, hosted this year by Malaysian Ministry of Transport, is taking place between the 21st to 25th of October with the attendance of civil aviation r epresentatives from all over the globe and a number of regional and international organizations. The conference grants participants the opportunity to engage in negotiations and bilateral talks concerning aviation services, as well as grants policy makers, organizational authorities, operators and service providers the chance to connect.
