Defense Minister Meets UAE Deputy Chief of Staff to Discuss Military Cooperation


KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah met with the Deputy Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, Major General Sheikh Ahmad bin Tahnoon Al-Nahyan, to discuss strengthening military cooperation between the two nations.



According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry of Defense released a statement indicating that Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf received Major General Sheikh Ahmad bin Tahnoon Al-Nahyan during his official visit to Kuwait. The discussions centered on enhancing bilateral relations, especially focusing on military collaboration.



This visit underscores the strong ties between the armed forces of Kuwait and the UAE, emphasizing efforts to bolster defense cooperation. The talks are part of ongoing efforts to deepen the distinguished relationship between the two countries.



The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, Major General Pilot Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, UAE Ambassador to Kuwait Dr. Matar Al-Neyadi, and several senior officers and leaders from both sides, highlighting the significance of the discussions.
