Kuwait City: The Commerce Ministry's truth-seeking committee announced on Thursday that it will scrutinize draws conducted by banks and commercial enterprises dating back to 2015 to assess their lawfulness.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the head of the committee, Adnan Abol, stated that the investigation period might extend further back in time, contingent upon the evidence and legal process. He also disclosed plans to launch an online platform designed to facilitate public submissions of complaints and information related to any suspicious activities, as a measure to bolster transparency and fairness.
A comprehensive list of individuals responsible for supervising the draws is currently being prepared. Any individual suspected of misconduct will be referred to the appropriate authorities for investigation, Abol confirmed.
