Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has predicted cold to very cold weather across the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Hail, and Northern Borders. These areas are likely to experience frost formation as temperatures continue to drop, accompanied by gusty and dust-stirring winds affecting parts of Qassim, Riyadh, Eastern, and Najran regions. The weather conditions are anticipated to extend to the eastern parts of the southwestern highlands, as well as parts of Makkah and Madinah regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, rain showers and fog formation are expected in the Jazan and Aseer regions. Over the Red Sea, winds will vary from northwesterly to northeasterly in the northern and central parts, with speeds ranging between 12-35 km/h. In the southern part, winds will shift to southeasterly to easterly, reaching speeds of 10-45 km/h. Wave heights are predicted to range from half a meter to two meters, indicating that the sea will be calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds are expected to be northwesterly to westerly, with speeds of 25-55 km/h. Wave heights could reach from one and a half meters to over two and a half meters, resulting in calm to choppy sea conditions.
