Philadelphia: Chelsea of Britain and Flamengo of Brazil have advanced to the knock-out stages of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. Chelsea secured their spot by defeating Esperance Sportive de Tunis (ES Tunis) with a decisive three-goal victory at the Lincoln Financial Field Stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the goals for Chelsea were scored by Tosin Adarabioyo in the 48th minute, Liam Delap in the 50th minute, and Tyrique George in the 97th minute, showcasing their dominance in the match.
In another match, Flamengo earned their place in the next stage with a 1-1 draw against Los Angeles FC at Camping World Stadium. Los Angeles took the lead in the 84th minute with a goal by Denis Bouaunga, but Flamengo quickly responded with an equalizer by Wallace Yan just two minutes later.
As the tournament progresses, Flamengo is set to face Bayern Munich, while Chelsea will compete against Benfica of Portugal.
