N'djamena: Chad has condemned Sudan's Rapid Support Forces' attack inside the Chadian territories that killed seven soldiers, warning the warring parties in Sudan against the repetition of such an assault.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Chadian government spokesman Qassem Sharif stated that his country would not tolerate such attacks and cautioned against further violations of its land in the future.
Sudan's RSF illegally crossed Chad's border on Thursday and conducted a gun operation inside the Chadian territory. The attack targeted defense and security forces, as well as civilians, in the eastern part of the country.
The attack resulted in the killing of seven soldiers, wounding others, and causing damage to property.
In another statement, the Chadian government noted that this was not the first time the Sudanese warring parties violated Chad's territories.
Since the eruption of Sudan's crisis, Chad has maintained neutrality due to its commitment to regional stability, peace, and respect for international law. The Chadian government warned that it would immediately and strictly retaliate against any further attacks or violations of its land.
