Kuwait city: Bahrain on Saturday welcomed the announcement of the second phase of US President Donald Trump's Gaza peace plan and the formation of a temporary national Palestinian committee to manage the Strip. In a press release, the Bahraini Foreign Ministry commended the US president's unveiling of the Board of Peace for Gaza and his efforts to end the Gaza conflict and achieve lasting peace in the region.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Bahrain reiterated its stance on supporting the Gaza ceasefire, providing humanitarian aid to the enclave's population, and initiating efforts for Gaza's rebuilding and recovery. The Foreign Ministry emphasized the importance of achieving comprehensive, just, and sustainable peace in accordance with relevant UN resolutions, the Arab peace initiative, and the two-state solution, which aims to maintain regional security and stability while safeguarding international peace and security.
