Kuwait City: The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced it successfully eliminated a senior operative from the terrorist organization Hurras al-Din (HaD), an affiliate of Al-Qaeda, in a precision airstrike conducted in northwestern Syria.
According to Kuwait News Agency, CENTCOM reported that the airstrike took place on January 30, targeting Muhammad Salah Al-Za'bir, a key figure within Hurras al-Din. This operation is part of CENTCOM's ongoing efforts to disrupt and degrade the capabilities of terrorist organizations that pose threats to civilians and military personnel from the U.S., its allies, and partners across the region and beyond.
The statement emphasized CENTCOM's commitment to continue its operations to neutralize or capture terrorists. General Michael Erik Kurilla, commander of the U.S. Central Command, reinforced this resolve by stating that CENTCOM will persist in its mission to protect the homeland and allied personnel from groups planning attacks.
