Car Ploughs Into Liverpool FC Parade, Injuring 27 People

Liverpool: British police announced Monday that 27 people were injured when a driver rammed his car into a parade of Liverpool FC's fans celebrating their team's winning of the Premier League title outside the club stadium in northern England.

According to Kuwait News Agency, in a press statement, the police confirmed that two of the injured, a child and a man, suffered serious injuries, while 20 others suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

The police said the driver of the car, a 53-year-old British man, was arrested, and the incident is not being treated as terrorism.
