Buraidah: The 17th edition of the Buraidah Klija Festival has transformed cultural activities from a purely celebratory framework into an investment and development-oriented platform by preserving cultural identity and converting folk heritage into a sustainable tourism and economic driver. The festival has recorded daily attendance of approximately 30,000 visitors, reflecting its prominence and ability to attract a wide range of visitors from within the region and beyond.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in light of the festival's immense success, Governor of Qassim Region Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz has extended the event for an additional week. To honor its growing global footprint, the governor also rebranded the current edition as "Buraidah International Klija Festival." This new title acknowledges the valuable participation of international partners from Trkiye, Morocco, and Egypt, who have enriched the event with diverse global culinary expertise.
