Bahraini ambassador to Singapore participates in G3, G20 Troika meeting

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Singapore, residing in Bangkok, Mona Abbas Mahmoud Radhi, participated in the third edition of the Global Governance Group (G3) and the G20 Troika, which was chaired by Singaporean Foreign Minister, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan.

During the meeting, multilateralism was emphasized as a necessity to address the common challenges facing all countries. It was also pointed out that there is an urgent need to speed up the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, intensify the efforts to address climate change, benefit from digital transformation for development, and confirm the group’s support to India’s G20 presidency.

Singapore established the 30-member Global Governance Group in 2009 to act as a bridge between the G20 and the broader UN members.
