Manama: Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa emphasized Bahrain's strategic relations with the United States, highlighting their foundation on joint cooperation and coordination. He made these remarks while hosting a US congressional delegation led by Representative Bradley Schneider at Gudaibiya Palace.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended the ongoing development of bilateral relations, which encompass a range of areas. He stressed the importance of mutually beneficial cooperation, longstanding agreements, and close collaboration, particularly noting the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA).
During the meeting, several issues of common interest were discussed, including the latest regional and international developments and their implications for security and stability. The Crown Prince also emphasized the importance of continuing US-Iran nuclear negotiations and the urgent need to resolve regional conflicts for the benefit of all peoples in the region, acknowledging the significant role of the US in these efforts.
