The President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani, met the religious authority, Bashir Al-Najafi, in the old city of Najaf.
Talabani arrived in Najaf earlier this evening and met the religious authority, Muhammad Ishaq al-Fayyad.
