At least 17 people killed, 100 wounded during clashes in S. Khartoum

At least 17 people were killed and more than 100 others were injured during clashes between the Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces in the south of the Sudanese capital.

According to the Sudanese Medical Association and human rights groups, in two separate statements, violent confrontations between the Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces in the south of the capital, Khartoum, led to the death of at least 17 civilians and the injury of 106 others.

Since April 15, Sudan has been witnessing clashes between the Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces in Khartoum and other cities, in which dozens of people have been killed and wounded after talks aimed at formulating a final political agreement.
