Arab Security Conference Calls for Increased Awareness on Cybercrimes


Kuwait city: The Arab Interior Ministers Council emphasized the need to enhance awareness about cybercrimes to protect citizens during the second conference for combating cybercrimes, held at its headquarters.



According to Kuwait News Agency, the Council announced its collaboration with the United Nations Regional Centre for combating cybercrime to organize an annual awareness week focused on cybercrimes and preventive measures.



The conference also explored strategies to prevent crimes facilitated by artificial intelligence. A comprehensive strategy was prepared to address the misuse and risks associated with AI. Kuwait led the conference, represented by Assistant Director of Cybercrimes Colonel Hamad Al-Hamoud, alongside representatives from Arab Interior Ministries and several other organizations.
