According to Kuwait News Agency, the tournament has shown strong competition among the participating teams from the very beginning, with commendations for the proper organization by Qatar at all levels and in all areas. Egypt's Al-Jomhuria Managing Director Shareef Abdelqader noted the fierce competitions, particularly highlighting the matches between Palestine and Qatar, and Kuwait and Egypt. Abdelqader emphasized that the second round of the pan-Arab football event would be crucial for some teams that did not achieve positive results in the first round, praising the performances of Jordan, Morocco, and Saudi Arabia.
The Egyptian journalist also expressed admiration for the large fan attendance in most of the World Cup stadiums hosting the tournament, appreciating the services provided by Qatar, including modern transportation and the festive stadium atmosphere. Saleh Bay Aboud, a journalist at Algeria's Al-Botola newspaper, remarked that the Arab Cup has served as an opportunity to unite Arab countries in a spirit of sportsmanship. He noted the positive response and enthusiasm from Arab peoples and fans attending the matches to support their national teams. The Algerian journalist commended FIFA's decision to recognize the pan-Arab sports championship as a significant gain for the tournament.
Qatari sports journalist Ali Al-Salat expressed pride in the tournament's opening ceremony, which featured artistic displays reflecting the beauty and diversity of Arab culture. He highlighted how the ceremony combined Arab tradition with modern technologies to present an honorable image to the world, showcasing Qatar's capability in innovation and organization. The 2025 FIFA Arab Cup in Qatar marks the 11th edition of the Arab Cup, taking place from December 1 to 18, 2025. This is Qatar's third time hosting the competition, following the 1998 and 2021 editions.
