Cairo: The 55th session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers commenced with the participation of Kuwait's Minister of Information, Culture, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi. Arab Ministers deliberated on several items on the agenda, including the activation of the new version of the Arab Media Code of Ethics and support for the Palestinian cause.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Syria's Minister of Information, Hamza Al-Mustafa, chaired the session, succeeding Bahrain's Minister of Information, Ramzan Al-Nuaimi. The ministers reviewed various agenda items, such as media strategies for combating terrorism, the 2030 media roadmap for Sustainable Development, and explored ways to employ emerging technologies. Kuwait's delegation, led by Minister of Information and Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Talal Al-Mutairi, participated in the session along with other officials.
