Arab League Condemns Israeli Remarks on West Bank Annexation

Cairo: Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmad Aboul-Gheit has condemned recent Israeli statements regarding the annexation of the West Bank, describing them as "dangerous."

According to Kuwait News Agency, Aboul-Gheit expressed concern over remarks made by Israel's Minister of Justice, which he believes indicate a perilous policy. The Arab League leader emphasized that such statements violate international law and urged the global community to respond to this policy, which he claims exacerbates tensions in the region.

Aboul-Gheit highlighted that the West Bank is recognized as occupied Palestinian territory under international law and United Nations resolutions, as well as by countries worldwide. He labeled the annexation effort as political "bullying," calling for measures to counteract what he perceives as a threat to regional stability.
