Cairo: The Arab League and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications have entered into a memorandum of understanding aimed at fostering collaboration in smart education, digital policies, and training initiatives. According to Kuwait News Agency, the signing ceremony featured University President Zou Mei and Minister Plenipotentiary Inas Al-Farjani, who serves as the Supervisor of the Social Affairs Sector. The memorandum seeks to strengthen ties between the Arab League’s Secretariat and Chinese academic entities, with a particular focus on development and training.
The partnership outlines plans for an Arab-China Forum dedicated to digital policies and short-term ICT training programs at the Arab League’s headquarters for students from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Additionally, it offers opportunities for Arab League staff to engage in short-term programs covering Chinese culture, language, and digital knowledge. The agreement also emphasizes activities related to artificial intelligence and scientific research, underscoring a commitment to advancing educational and technological expertise across the involved regions.
