Amiri Diwan Minister Highlights Kuwait Amir’s Upcoming Visit to Russia for Strengthening Ties

Kuwait city: The Amiri Diwan Affairs Minister Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah stated that the upcoming visit by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Russia will aim at reinforcing the historic ties between the two nations.

According to Kuwait News Agency, this announcement was made during a statement by the minister, while he attended the performance of the Moscow Symphony Orchestra at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center (JACC) late Saturday. The highlight of the Amir's visit to Russia on October 15 will be his attendance at the Russia-Arab Summit, where discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation in various domains, as well as addressing regional and international developments.

The Amiri Diwan Affairs Minister emphasized the significance of the orchestra performance held under the "Moscow Seasons in Kuwait" initiative, describing it as a "cultural bridge" that provides Kuwaiti citizens with an opportunity to experience Russian culture, music, and arts. This cultural exchange underscores the deep-rooted connections between Kuwait and Russia, dating back to the first Russian expedition to Kuwait in 1901.

The minister reiterated the commitment of both countries to explore new avenues for cooperation, reflecting their strong bilateral relations.
