Kuwait city: An Amiri decree has been issued, accepting the resignation of Minister of Information and Culture Abdullah Boftain. The decree also names Minister of State for Communication Affairs and Information Technology, Omar Al-Omar, as the Acting Minister of Information and Culture, in addition to his current responsibilities.
According to Kuwait News Agency, this decision marks a significant change in the leadership of the Ministry of Information and Culture. Abdullah Boftain's resignation has led to Omar Al-Omar taking on the additional role, which will see him overseeing the functions of the ministry alongside his duties as Minister of State for Communication Affairs and Information Technology.
