Al-Ula Hosts Munich Security Conference Leaders’ Meeting

Kuwait city: Al-Ula is set to host the Munich Security Conference (MSC) Leaders Meeting on Wednesday and Thursday, marking a significant moment for Saudi Arabia as it highlights its growing influence in international security and political discourse. As participants begin to arrive on Tuesday, the conference is poised to extend the MSC's legacy as a premier forum for global security and political discussions, traditionally held once or twice a year in various cities around the world. This meeting provides a vital platform for high-level decision makers and experts to exchange views and perspectives on pressing global issues.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the two-day program will take place at Maraya Hall, where discussions will span a range of critical topics. These include global trade, regional crises, energy transitions, maritime trade security, nuclear safety, and regional and international cooperation in energy and economics. The announcement of Saudi Arabia's hosting of the event was initially made during the MSC Leaders' gathering in Washington, DC last May, underscoring the kingdom's commitment to fostering international dialogue and collaboration.
