Activists Mobilize for Beach Clean-up on World Clean-up Day

Kuwait city: Activists of various ages have rolled up their sleeves to collect waste littered across the Kuwaiti Anjafa beach, marking the World Cleanup Day. The group, including volunteers, civil servants, and personnel from public and private institutions, assembled early today at the beach, collecting the waste in an activity sponsored and attended by Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governor and Hawally Acting Governor Sheikh Badr Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the task was carried out in coordination with the "KAFO" association, aiming to promote the culture of volunteering and preserve the cleanliness of the beaches. The initiative highlights the importance of community involvement in environmental conservation efforts.

Sheikh Badr called on all segments of society to participate in collective activities to safeguard the country's environment. The event served as a reminder of the pivotal role citizens play in maintaining and protecting natural spaces for future generations.
