A security source confirmed that the law enforcement plan will continue until after the provincial council elections scheduled to be held next December.
The source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the law enforcement plan continues to implement its goals in tracking down those wanted on the blacklist and those accused of security crimes, noting that the law enforcement plan achieved important security results in dismantling criminal networks and reducing terrorist violations.
He added that Diyala’s security is one of the federal government’s priorities in strengthening the capabilities of the security forces deployed in the governorate to face challenges.
