Ramallah: Thirty-three journalists were killed in the first six months of this year in the genocidal war launched by Israeli occupying forces in the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate. This announcement was made by the syndicate's freedom committee head Mohammad Allaham during a press conference.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Israeli occupation also committed crimes against journalists' families in Ramallah. Allaham noted that Israeli forces killed 41 members of journalists' families and destroyed 32 houses in Ramallah in the first half of 2025.
In addition, 66 journalists were injured due to missile shrapnel and bullets, the syndicate's official pointed out, highlighting the ongoing risks faced by journalists in conflict zones.
