Gaza city: Thirty Palestinians were killed and 60 others injured on Sunday when Israeli forces targeted aid workers in the northwest of Gaza City.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Israeli forces opened fire on those waiting for aid in the Al-Sudaniya area, leading to the death of at least 30 Palestinians and injury of 60 others. It was reported that dead bodies are still on the streets, as confirmed by the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA).
Health authorities in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll had risen to 891, with more than 5,754 wounded. The Palestinian Media Office in the Gaza Strip warned that the region is heading toward an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, citing ongoing genocide and mass starvation affecting more than 2.4 million people, including 1.1 million children.
The Israeli occupation's closure of all crossings for more than 140 days has prevented the entry of humanitarian and relief aid, further exacerbating the situation. The Israeli occupation army also announced the expansion of its military operations to include Deir al-Balah city in central Gaza Strip, urging residents to evacuate immediately and head south toward the Al-Mawadi area.
