Kuwait City: Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani on Monday praised Kuwait's consistent support for Yemen, highlighting the steadfast positions held by the Kuwaiti political leadership, represented by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Dr. Zindani made these remarks to KUNA and Kuwait TV during a lecture at the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Kuwait Diplomatic Institute. The discussion focused on the current Yemeni situation and the efforts of the international coalition, along with Kuwait's role in working towards stabilizing Yemen and achieving a peaceful resolution to the ongoing crisis.
The Yemeni foreign minister, visiting Kuwait on an official trip, expressed the Yemeni people's gratitude for Kuwait's humanitarian, charitable, and developmental aid. He emphasized Kuwait's unwavering presence alongside the Yemeni people through times of joy and hardship, acknowledging the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples.
Zindani further mentioned that his visit to Kuwait primarily aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and exploring new areas of cooperation across various sectors.
