Assistant Undersecretary for Construction and Maintenance Projects at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Shaikh Mishaal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, said that procedures are being completed to commence the expansion and renovation projects of the Kuwait Health Centre in Karzakan.
He pointed out that the project is among the government projects aimed at delivering the best services to customers.
It is also included in the strategic programmes and plans of the Ministry of Health to develop the quality of health services so as to meet the needs of the citizens and residents in this regard, he said.
He indicated the project includes the expansion of the existing building by adding a two-storey building at the front side, including an administration office, a meeting room, consulting offices and services at the ground floor, in addition to a dental department and services at the first floor.
It is to be noted that the Tender Board had awarded the tender of the project last January.
