– The World Allergy Organization (WAO) has accredited the Kuwaiti Abdulaziz AlRashed Allergy Center as a center of excellence, prompting the minister of health to hail the achievement as a credit for the whole national health sector.
Minister Khaled Al-Saeed said in a statement, on Tuesday, he is proud of the accomplishment, congratulating all the center staff and noting that the designation by the largest academy globally in this sector as a new success not only for the center but also for the whole Kuwaiti medical sector.
He expressed gratitude to the personnel whose perseverance led to the international honoring of the center.
Dr. Mona al-Ahmad, head of the center department of allergy and immunity, said the gesture by the world’s largest academy at this level should prompt the concerned cadres to excel further. With this selection, the Kuwaiti establishment has become among six accredited centers in the Middle East and Africa as well as among 53 centers worldwide that had won such honors.
